Online monitoring for compressed air stations
Your compressed air station. Always in view. ECOCONTROL.
Live values, a complete history and e-mail alerts — on any internet-enabled device. No software installation, no IT project.

Why online monitoring?
The compressed air station is usually noticed only when it fails.
Compressor room, side building, basement: compressed air runs invisibly — until a fault hits production. ECOCONTROL makes operating states, readings and faults visible online.
Spot risks early
- See critical trends in real time — act before a warning becomes a fault
- E-mail notifications freely configurable
Analyse & data logging
- Store and export all readings permanently — without limits
- Chart dew point, pressure, flow & more at any time
Plan instead of drive
- Coordinate maintenance by time, operating hours or system condition
- Check system status remotely — fewer unnecessary trips
How it works
From the system to your smartphone — four stations.
One continuously encrypted data path. All settings are stored locally in the device — a connection failure is not critical, the system keeps running unchanged.

The device kit
One base device per station — extensions as needed.
Every base device is also the gateway to the cloud. Databoxes and switchboxes simply attach via system Modbus — up to 5 in a row.

ECOMATIC4.0
- The dryer controller sends data itself — no extra device needed
- 6 sensor inputs (4×4-20 mA, PT1000, Modbus RTU)
- GSM LTE (optional) & WiFi
- Gateway function with the COMFORT or PREMIUM version

TPK25
- Measures the dew point, pressure, temperature and sends directly to the cloud
- 2 sensor inputs (4-20 mA, Modbus RTU)
- 4 relay outputs
- GSM LTE (optional) & WiFi

GT4.0
- The universal entry point for any existing station
- 1 input for sensors/Databox (Modbus RTU)
- GSM LTE & WiFi always on board
DATABOX S | L
- Connects to all devices via system Modbus
- L: 9×4-20 mA · 3×PT1000 · 7×Modbus
- S: 3×4-20 mA · 1×PT1000 · 2×Modbus

SWITCHBOX
- 5× changeover contacts (relays)
- Chained conditions possible
- e.g. summer/winter switchover, alarm signals
EC.GSM
- Mobile network instead of the customer’s WiFi — independent of on-site IT
- Includes IoT e-SIM: 10 years, 500 MB
Networking NEW
Several stations? One data collector is enough.
Large plants often have several measuring points in different halls. Instead of connecting every station to the cloud individually, one gateway becomes the data collector: it gathers the values of the other gateways on the local network and sends everything bundled — a single internet connection for the whole plant.
GT4.0 · Data collector
learns senders simply by IP address — names and units arrive automatically
ECONET CLOUD
all stations of the plant in one cloud account
Multi-gateway with collector role
- One data collector bundles up to 8 sender gateways — only it goes online, only its data volume is used
- Teach-in within seconds: just enter the sender’s IP address, the collector fetches everything else automatically
- Every sender keeps measuring on site as usual — including connected databoxes; existing hardware, no extra radio technology
Control room connection (Modbus TCP)
- The gateway additionally provides its readings as a Modbus TCP server
- Your control room/SCADA polls the values directly on the local network — in parallel with the cloud path, no detour via the internet
- Standard protocol: works with any common control system

Software
Two levels: web server on the device, ECONET in the cloud.
The web server sets the device up on site — the ECONET cloud app brings together all stations worldwide. Both run in any browser without installation, from smartphone to desktop.
Web server on the device
- Settings directly on the device via browser — password-protected on the local network
- Sensor and compressor catalogue for easy Modbus setup
ECONET cloud app
- All stations worldwide at a glance — alarms, e-mail rules, route planning
- Unlimited data logging, graphical analysis, CSV export
Three licence models — upgrade any time
The Free version costs nothing and comes with every device. Upgrades to ECONOMY and BUSINESS can be booked online in the ECONET cloud app at any time.

“Too complicated for us”?
Quite the opposite: set up in minutes — with a guided assistant.
The most common worry about IoT projects is the effort. That is exactly what the guided setup is for: the assistant in the device web server walks you through device, sensors and connection step by step — and Modbus sensors are simply picked from the catalogue instead of entering registers by hand.
Guided setup
Connect your phone to the device WiFi, open the browser, follow the assistant. No app, no installation, no IT project.
Sensor & compressor catalogue
Pick a sensor from the list — registers, units and scaling are preconfigured. What used to require Modbus expertise is now a single click.
Who is behind it?
Two companies. One group. One shared technology.
KSI Filtertechnik and PROair are independent companies — both belong to the KICK Group. Because the IoT technology of both houses overlaps, ECOCONTROL is developed jointly: same device platform, same cloud, same setup app. That is why ECOCONTROL deliberately appears in its own shared colour scheme — as a product family of both companies.
